Prairie Winds® Totem Pole™ Switch Grass

Prairie Winds® 'Totem Pole' is an exceptionally narrow, upright switch grass with steel-blue foliage and golden seedheads. Proven Winners lists it at about 6 feet tall and 2½ feet wide, hardy in USDA Zones 4–9, and tolerant of drought and salt. Its sturdy columns bring strong vertical form to the garden, while the fall seedheads continue to add interest after flowering. ## Garden use Plant it as a tall focal point, in a mass planting, or in a container where its columnar outline can stand out.
