Primula acaulis is a compact garden primrose with low foliage and flowers held above the leaves. Mixes combine colours rather than describing one flower-colour form; the supplier label gives the palette and lot details. The [RHS Primula guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/primula) covers the wider genus, whose species and garden forms vary in size, season and cultivation needs. ## Maintenance Keep the soil evenly moist while allowing excess water to drain. Cool conditions and partial shade are useful in warm weather; adjust sun exposure to local climate and the supplier's directions. Remove spent flowers and damaged foliage, and avoid prolonged drying or waterlogging.
