Primlet® Golden Shades Primula

Primlet® Golden Shades is a compact Primula acaulis selected for early-season displays. It forms a neat mound of scented blooms and brings golden-yellow tones to winter and early-spring containers. PanAmerican Seed lists it at 5–6 inches tall and 5–7 inches wide, with sun exposure, and notes suitability for solo planters, small combinations and indoor display. Its early bloom brings color before many spring annuals are ready. ## Growing Conditions The grower profile specifies sun and a mounded habit. Keep the root zone evenly moist while it is actively growing, and provide good drainage in containers. ## Maintenance Remove spent flower clusters to keep the display tidy. Water when the surface begins to dry, and protect flowering plants from prolonged heat; Primlet is grown for the cool-season window.
