About Primlet® Sunrise Primula

Primlet® Sunrise is a compact Primlet® primrose with double, rosebud-shaped flowers and a picotee edge. A grower listing describes yellow flowers with a red edge, while the Royal Horticultural Society profile for this exact selection describes pink, yellow, orange, and red shades; both report the distinctive edged flowers. The official product page identifies the PAS391855 selection. Loam and sand suit Primlet series plants. Their low, mounded rosettes carry dark green, semi-evergreen foliage. ## Garden use Use Sunrise in a seasonal container, flower border, or garden edging. It is compact enough for the front of a planting or a small mixed pot. ## Flowering season The grower lists winter and early spring bloom. In outdoor beds, spring is the usual flowering season; winter color is more dependable in protected containers or indoors. ## Maintenance No pruning is required. Keep the root zone consistently moist but well drained. [RHS Primlet series profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/248961/primula-primlet-series-pr-prim/details)
