Primlet® White Primula

Primlet® White is a compact, mounded primrose with double white flowers shaped like small rosebuds. The blooms are scented and rise above dark green foliage; the supplier identifies the selection as Primula acaulis and lists its flowering season as winter and early spring. [PanAmerican Seed](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/051104307005863/primula-primlet-white/) provides the exact product identity and PAS391884 code. ## Growing conditions Grow in moist, well-drained soil in partial shade or in full sun where moisture is maintained. Loam and sand are suitable. Primlet series plants form semi-evergreen foliage rosettes and remain a compact mounded feature. ## Garden use Place White in a seasonal container, at the front of a flower border, or along a garden edge. Its white blooms pair easily with spring bulbs and other cool-season flowers. ## Flowering season The supplier lists early spring and winter flowering. Outdoors, primroses generally flower in spring; winter flowering is best suited to protected containers or indoor growing. ## Maintenance No pruning is required. Keep soil evenly moist and remove only damaged leaves as needed. [RHS Primlet series profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/248961/primula-primlet-series-pr-prim/details)
