Very large crops of medium to large freestone apricots with superior sweet flavor, and a reddish blush to the skin. Late to bloom so as to resist late frosts. Ripens mid-summer. The fruit pit of this apricot is sweet like the Chinese (Mormon) Apricot and can be used in salads. The original tree survived winters to negative 30 degrees.
