Cherry Laurel Centre Court™

Centre Court™ is a dense, upright evergreen cherry laurel with glossy green leaves and a formal outline. Greenleaf describes fragrant white spring flowers followed by small black berries; Taylor’s Nursery gives a mature range of about 25–30 feet tall and 12–15 feet wide. Year-round foliage makes it useful as a screen or hedge, while the upright habit also suits a specimen planting. ## Garden Use Use it as a screen, clipped hedge, or evergreen accent where there is room for its mature height. Berries may be visited by birds. ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun or part shade and well-drained soil. It is listed for USDA zones 7–10 and tolerates heat and dry periods once established. ## Maintenance Water regularly while establishing, then reduce watering as roots develop. Trim after flowering to shape a hedge or maintain a clear outline.
