Italian Prune' has sweet, medium-sized fruit, purplish black, late to midseason. Excellent fresh or for canning or drying. They are late bloomers and are better adapted to areas with late frosts or cool, rainy, spring weather. Does best in fertile, well-drained soil. Once mature, trees will require little pruning. Self-fruitful. Harvest around September 20.
