Little Twist® is a compact ornamental cherry selected for its zigzagging branches and an early spring display of white flowers with pink centers. The nursery profile identifies the selection as Prunus incisa 'Little Twist®' (CarltonLT), with a small, rounded crown suited to gardens where a full-size flowering cherry would overwhelm the space. [NVK Nurseries](https://www.nvknurseries.com/plant/Prunus-incisa-Little-Twist-CarltonLT) reports a mature height of about 175–200 cm and a spread of 150–175 cm.
## Flowers and form
Pink buds open to single white flowers, often showing a pink center, before the foliage is fully developed. The crooked branch pattern remains a feature after bloom, and leaves take on burgundy tones in autumn. This deciduous cultivar works as a specimen near a walk or patio, where its branching and spring flowers can be seen.
## Siting
Choose full sun or partial sun and soil that drains well. The source lists it for USDA Zone 5 and notes average-to-dry moisture once established. The grafted nursery form may have a clear stem beneath the compact crown, so allow room for its mature width.
## Maintenance
Water consistently during establishment, then adjust irrigation to local rainfall and soil drainage. Remove damaged or crossing branches after flowering, and avoid heavy pruning that would erase the naturally twisted framework.
