Create design onlineAbout Corinthian Pink Double Flowering Peach Tree
Corinthian Pink is a narrowly columnar, deciduous ornamental peach with medium purple foliage and abundant double light pink flowers in spring. North Carolina State Extension lists this selection among Corinthian flowering peaches, which are grown for their flowers rather than for edible crops.
## Garden Use
Use it as a vertical flowering accent, specimen, or in a mass planting where its upright form provides structure. The spring display is the main attraction; any small fruit is not considered a useful crop.
## Growing Conditions
Plant in full sun and provide well-drained soil. In the southern United States, North Carolina State Extension recommends morning sun to limit exposure to intense afternoon heat. These trees are vigorous, so allow room for the canopy to develop.
## Maintenance
Water during establishment and during extended dry weather. Prune in late winter or after flowering to remove damaged branches and maintain the columnar outline. Avoid heavy pruning that removes the branches carrying next spring’s flower buds.
