Create design onlineAbout Ruby Ruffle™ Patio Peach Tree
Ruby Ruffle™ Patio Peach is a compact ornamental peach with clusters of dark pink, ruffled flowers in spring and burgundy leaves edged in distinctive waves. Its small, balanced outline makes it well suited to a patio container or a close-view garden focal point.
## Garden Use
Star Roses and Plants lists it as a small tree about 4–5 feet high and wide, suited to containers or specimen planting, with hardiness in USDA zones 5–8. The plant was developed at the JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University. The [official Ruby Ruffle profile](https://starrosesandplants.com/plants/ruby-ruffle-patio-peach/) describes its flowers, foliage, size, light, and zone range.
## Growing Conditions
Choose full sun for the strongest flowering and foliage color. Water regularly while the tree establishes, and use a container or garden soil that drains freely.
## Maintenance
Check container moisture during warm weather and water before the root ball dries completely. Keep the young tree evenly watered during establishment; avoid leaving its roots in standing water.
