Create design onlineAbout Pink Myst® Flowering Cherry
Pink Myst® is an upright, oval Sargent cherry grown for its bright pink flowers in early spring. Dark green summer leaves turn orange and red in autumn, and the blossoms have a light fragrance.
## Appearance
The narrow crown, spring flowers, and colorful fall foliage make this tree useful as a specimen or in a small group. J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co. lists it at about 30 feet tall by 15 feet wide and in USDA Zones 4–8; a public garden profile also notes fragrant blossoms and fruit used by birds. Actual size and flowering time vary with climate and site. [J. ## Growing Conditions
Grow in full sun or part shade in soil that drains well. Allow room for the oval crown and maintain good air movement around the branches.
## Maintenance
Water during establishment and during prolonged dry periods. Remove damaged or crossing branches as needed, preferably after flowering, and keep the root zone free of persistent waterlogging.
