About Kwanzan Flowering Cherry

This deciduous tree features a distinctive upright, vase-shaped habit that matures into a rounded crown. It is celebrated for its profuse, deep pink double blossoms that appear in mid-spring, often before or alongside the bronze-red new foliage. The leaves transition to a dark green in summer and turn vibrant shades of orange and bronze in autumn. Ideal as a specimen or street tree, it thrives in moist, well-drained loamy soils and prefers full sun to partial shade conditions.
