Pyrus calleryana 'Chastity' is a triploid hybrid ornamental pear developed by Dr. Tom Ranney at NC State University. It is celebrated for being highly infertile and non-invasive, addressing the ecological concerns of other Callery pears. This hardy tree features a broadly pyramidal growth habit, reaching about 35 feet tall. It produces a profusion of white blossoms in early spring, followed by glossy dark green foliage that turns vibrant orange to red in autumn. It is also highly resistant to fire blight.
