About 20th Century Asian Pear Fruit Tree

Highly ornamental, this tree is covered with bright white flowers in spring, glossy green leaves in summer and boasts strong oranges, reds, and purples in fall. Heavy yields of uniform, very juicy sweet fruits that ripen from mid-August to October. Round fruit with golden skin and crisp, juicy, snow-white flesh is excellent for eating or canning. Fruit stores well for up to 4 months. Self-pollinating, however, better yield is produced with another pear close by. Bartlett, D'Anjou or other Asian pears are good pollinators.
