About Columnar English Oak

This upright, columnar deciduous tree matures into a dense, elongated oval shape with a short trunk. Its dark green, lobed leaves persist into winter, turning a coppery brown. Reaching heights of 50 to 60 feet while staying narrow, it is an ideal specimen for small gardens, street plantings, or as a privacy screen. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, showing remarkable tolerance for urban pollution, drought, and salt, though it can be prone to powdery mildew.
