Rainbow Rhythm® ‘Blazing Glory’ is a midseason daylily grown for golden-yellow flowers with a broad burgundy-red eye and a matching picotee edge. The 32-inch scapes carry large blooms above a clump that spreads about 18–24 inches.
## Garden Use
Use this upright selection in a sunny mixed border, as a bright focal point, or in a roomy container. Its strongly colored eye and persistent petal edging make individual flowers readable from a path, while the branched scapes and high bud count create a full summer display.
## Seasonal Display
Walters Gardens describes ‘Blazing Glory’ as a July bloomer that can rebloom. Its flowers are fragrant, and the foliage is semi-evergreen, so some leaves may persist where winters are mild. The [Walters Gardens variety profile](https://www.waltersgardens.com/variety.php?ID=HMBLG) lists the cultivar’s 32-inch height, 18–24-inch spread, zones 3–9, and full sun to part shade.
## Growing Conditions
Give it good light for the strongest flowering and use well-drained soil. Keep new plantings evenly watered as roots establish; established daylilies tolerate a range of garden conditions.
## Maintenance
Remove faded flowers for neatness. Cut back old foliage in spring and divide a crowded clump when flowering or vigor drops; [University of Minnesota Extension](https://extension.umn.edu/garden-and-home/yard-and-garden/gardening-in-minnesota/daylilies) gives timing and planting guidance.
