Red Balloon Viburnum is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a rounded, mounding habit reaching eight feet in height and width. It features thick, leathery dark green foliage that emerges coppery-bronze in spring and turns maroon in autumn. In mid-spring, fragrant creamy white flower clusters appear, followed by spectacular bunches of brilliant red berries that mature to black. This hardy hybrid thrives in full sun to part shade and is ideal for hedges, screens, or foundation plantings.
