An upright, spreading deciduous shrub that is native to the Northwest. It has showy pink-red blooms on 1-3" flower clusters in the spring that yeild edible berries later in the season, though they are not as tasty as some of the other Ribes varieties. Can be trained to tolerate dry conditions.
