Red Lake Currant

Produces white-green blooms in the spring that give way to prolific red berries mid summer. Pea-sized currents are born in easy to harvest clusters. Grown primarily for fruit, its attractive berries also offer a showy pop of color in an ornamental garden. Birds generally will eat any unharvested currants, so cleanup is seldom required.
