Create design onlineAbout Popcorn Drift® Rose
Popcorn Drift® is the low, spreading rose Rosa 'Novarospop'. Its soft buttery-yellow flowers fade toward creamy white, and the cultivar is valued for a long succession of blooms that brightens borders and groundcover plantings.
## Garden Use
Allow roughly 1–2 feet in height and 2–3 feet in spread; the [Drift® Roses profile](https://www.driftroses.com/popcorn-drift) gives a compact 1½-by-2-foot habit, while [Arbor Day Foundation](https://shop.arborday.org/nursery/popcorn-drift-rose) lists the broader mature range. Use it along a sunny path, in a low border, or near the edge of a container where its rounded growth can spill slightly over the rim. The cultivar is listed for USDA Zones 4–11.
## Growing Conditions
Plant in full sun and well-drained soil for reliable flowering. Water regularly while establishing and during extended dry weather; avoid leaving the root zone saturated. Its compact size also suits small gardens where a low rose can provide color without blocking taller plants.
## Maintenance
Remove damaged stems and shape lightly when needed to keep the plant within its allotted space. The [cultivar description from Promesse de Fleurs](https://www.promessedefleurs.com/rosiers/rosiers-de-a-a-z/rosier-couvre-sol-popcorn-drift-novarospop.html) reports flowering from May into October and a compact groundcover form.
