Create design onlineAbout Anne™ Raspberry
Anne is a yellow-fruited raspberry with large, firm, round-conic berries and a mild-sweet flavor. It produces fruit on primocanes in fall, with additional fruit possible on lateral buds of overwintered canes.
The US plant patent describes the berries as light yellow, firm, and large; Oregon State lists Anne among yellow-fruited raspberries and gives a regional hardiness range of zones 4–7. Its golden crop adds a distinctive color to a home fruit garden, and the fruit can be eaten fresh, frozen, or preserved. ## Maintenance
Plant in full sun or light afternoon shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Keep moisture steady during flowering and fruiting, and train canes so the crop remains reachable. Because Anne can carry fruit on primocanes and on lateral buds of overwintered canes, choose pruning based on whether you want a concentrated fall crop or a longer picking season. Remove spent canes after harvest and retain healthy new growth.
