Jewel - Black Raspberry

These delicious black raspberries are some of the first to ripen in early summer. White flowers give way to berries that start white and turn black when ripe. Smaller than some varieties, still has thorns. Even moisture produces the best fruit, do not allow to completely dry out. Does not thrive with secondary water. Good disease resistance. Self-pollinating. Bears fruit on second year growth. Prune out canes that produced fruit and select the best canes for next years fruit.
