Salvia argentea is a striking biennial or short-lived perennial prized for its large, woolly rosettes of silvery-white foliage. Growing up to 3 feet wide, its soft, felt-like leaves provide a unique tactile experience in sensory gardens. In its second year, it produces tall candelabra-like spikes of hooded white flowers.
