Vermillion Bluffs

Salvia darcyi, also known as Darcy's Mexican Sage, is a robust perennial that forms expansive clumps reaching up to four feet tall and seven feet wide. It features aromatic, heart-shaped, light green leaves with a slightly sticky texture. From summer through fall, it produces stunning spikes of large, orange-red flowers that are highly attractive to hummingbirds and pollinators. This heat-tolerant species thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for xeriscaping.
