Danziger’s Sallyfun™ Pure White is its named white-flowered selection in the SALLYFUN™ series. It flowers early, grows upright, and is intended for landscape color and combination plantings.
## Growth and flowering
The breeder lists a mature height of 10–18 inches and width of 12–16 inches. Flowers are white, and the series continues blooming into summer. Salvia farinacea has aromatic, coarsely toothed green foliage and produces flowers intermittently from spring until frost; the species is a tender perennial hardy in USDA zones 8–10, though it is often grown as an annual where winters are colder.
## Garden placement
Plant in full sun and well-drained soil that remains reasonably moist. The species tolerates dry clay once established, grows in rounded clumps, and attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Use it in an annual bed, border, container combination, or cutting garden; the breeder also lists it as suitable for pot and landscape use.
## Maintenance
Water while plants establish and during prolonged dry weather. After a long flowering period, prune stems if the plant becomes leggy to encourage denser growth.
