Mojave Sage

Salvia pachyphylla is a striking perennial shrub native to the high-elevation deserts of the Southwest. It features intensely aromatic, silvery-gray evergreen foliage that forms a dense, rounded habit reaching up to three feet tall. During summer, it produces spectacular spikes of blue-violet flowers encased in showy purple bracts. This drought-tolerant plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it an excellent choice for xeriscapes, rock gardens, and pollinator habitats.
