Fashion™ Orange - Salvia x Buchananii

Fashion® Orange is the orange-flowered selection in the Salvia buchananii Fashion series. Lucas Greenhouses identifies the exact variety and reports an upright, vigorous habit with a profile size of 20–24 inches tall by 15–18 inches wide. Its [greenhouse profile](https://www.lucasgreenhouses.com/plant/Salvia-buchananii-Fashion-Orange) describes the Fashion series as day-length neutral and notes that all colors produce abundant blooms. ## Garden Use Use this selection to add a vivid orange note to a seasonal annual planting. The Fashion series is promoted for a strong landscape display, and its upright stems bring color above lower bedding plants. It can also complement blue, purple, or white flowers in a mixed bed. ## Growing Conditions Give the plant room to reach its published height and spread, and avoid crowding its vigorous stems. Lucas lists the series as day-length neutral, so it is suited to production across different day lengths. The color-specific profile describes this variety as an annual. ## Maintenance Remove fading flower stems to keep the display tidy, and clear spent growth at the end of the season.
