A hardy, spreading shrub that takes well to heavy pruning in early spring. The best foliage color is in full sun, but the plant does well in partial shade. Masses of fragrant, tiny white flowers in late spring to early summer develop into red berries that attract birds. Likes most soil type as long as there is enough water available.
