About Lavender Cotton

Santolina is a genus of small, evergreen sub-shrubs native to the Mediterranean, characterized by their dense, mounded growth habit and aromatic, finely divided foliage. Often reaching two feet in height, these plants produce button-like yellow or white flowers on slender stems. They are exceptionally drought-tolerant, thriving in full sun and well-drained, poor soils. Ideal for xeriscaping, rock gardens, or low hedges, they provide year-round texture and a pungent, herbal scent.
