Touran™ Limegreen Saxifraga

Touran™ Limegreen is a compact, mounding mossy saxifrage in Syngenta’s Touran series. Syngenta identifies this selection by product code 70006331 and lists it as a mid- to late-spring perennial for full sun or part sun, with brightly colored flowers held close to the foliage; its North American profile gives a mature garden height of 4–8 inches, a 6–10 inch spread, and hardiness zones 4a–9a. [Syngenta’s cultivar profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70006331) describes Touran as compact and pollinator friendly. ## Garden use The low mound suits the front of a spring border, a rock garden, a wall edge, or a container where the flowers can be seen close up. Its early display can bridge the gap before later perennials fill in. Leave about 6–10 inches for the mature spread. ## Growing conditions Choose full sun or part sun and a site with open drainage. The [exact-selection garden profile](https://www.tuinadvies.nl/plantengids/14595/saxifraga-x-arendsii-touran-limegreen) recommends a cool position with evenly moist, well-drained soil and cautions against drying or waterlogged conditions. In a small pot, check moisture more often during warm, dry weather. ## Maintenance After the spring flowers fade, remove the spent stalks to keep the cushion tidy; the exact-selection profile recommends cutting back the flowering stems after bloom. Avoid leaving the plant in a hot, soggy spot during summer.
