Heirloom Marriage™ Genuwine is an indeterminate red slicer tomato with deeply ribbed fruit and a rich, balanced flavor. PanAmerican Seed lists 10.5–11.5 ounce fruit and 70–75 days to maturity, and describes it as ready 12–19 days earlier than Brandywine. ## Fruit and growth
Genuwine is a cross of Costoluto Genovese and Brandywine, part of PanAmerican’s Heirloom Marriage collection. The upright plant keeps growing and setting fruit through the season, so it needs room and reliable support. Its red slicers work well fresh in sandwiches and salads.
## Growing conditions
Choose full sun and moist, well-drained loamy soil with a slightly acidic reaction. The breeder recommends in-ground culture. Steady watering helps reduce fruit splitting and blossom-end rot, while excess nitrogen can produce leafy growth with fewer tomatoes.
## Maintenance
Transplant after frost danger has passed. Install a sturdy cage or trellis while the plant is young, water consistently at the soil line, and pick mature fruit regularly. The source maturity range is counted from transplant and can vary with weather and growing conditions.
