About Loki Tomato

Loki is an indeterminate slicer tomato with round red fruit and a long harvest habit. PanAmerican Seed lists 6–8 ounce fruit, maturity 70–75 days after transplanting, and resistance to several diseases. [The Loki product profile](https://www.panamseed.com/products/062000001037035/tomato-loki/) describes a climbing, upright plant about 60–84 inches tall and 36–48 inches wide. ## Plant profile Loki is a large-fruited slicer with medium-sized, round tomatoes. PanAmerican Seed reports spring through late-summer bloom and recommends growing it in the ground. Its indeterminate, climbing form continues growing and setting fruit through the season. ## Growing conditions Tomatoes prefer full sun, moist loamy soil, and consistent watering. Leave room for the tall vine and keep moisture even as fruit develops. A trellis or sturdy cage can support stems carrying a heavy crop. ## Maintenance Set transplants outdoors after frost danger has passed. Stake or cage the plant to help keep stems from breaking under fruit weight. Avoid excess nitrogen, maintain steady moisture, and pick ripe tomatoes for slicing.
