Kong® Rose Coleus, Premium Shade

Kong® Rose is an ornamental foliage coleus with extra-large patterned leaves in the named Rose colorway. Its plants are mounded and upright, growing about 18–20 inches tall and 15–18 inches wide, and are suited to shade or partial sun; full shade gives the best performance. ## Placement Use this selection as a leafy focal point in a large container, mixed planting, or shaded landscape bed. PanAmerican Seed identifies it as Kakegawa CE14 and recommends 15–24 inches of spacing. Its [cultivar page](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/018003855004669/coleus-premium-shade-kong-rose/) lists US PVP200500017 protection information; [Ball Seed's plant details](https://www.ballseed.com/PlantInfo/?phid=018003855004669) confirm its size, form, exposure, and care profile. ## Growing care Ball Seed rates water needs as medium and lists heat tolerance and low maintenance. The PanAmerican grower guide advises watering early enough for foliage to dry by nightfall.
