Watermelon Coleus, Premium Sun

Premium Sun Watermelon is a mounded coleus with watermelon-pink, green, and yellow foliage. Its leaves show green edges in cool conditions and deepen toward pink in warmer weather; Ball lists a mature height of 20 inches and a width of 18–22 inches. ## Foliage and placement Use the changing leaf colors as a focal accent in sunny or shady landscapes and patio containers. PanAmerican describes Watermelon as late-flowering, with long-lasting colored foliage, and lists partial-sun exposure. Its foliage is most vivid where warmth and light suit the plant without exposing it to damaging dry, intense sun. ## Light and water Ball rates water needs as medium and lists fertilizer every two weeks. The Premium Sun collection can tolerate full sun in regions with high relative humidity, while foliage may scorch in full sun where humidity is low. Shade is suitable as well. ## Maintenance Ball identifies Watermelon as heat tolerant, shade tolerant, and low maintenance.
