Amsonia 'String Theory' is a compact, mounded perennial reaching 18-22 inches tall. It features fine, dark green threadleaf foliage that remains healthy all summer before turning a vibrant golden orange in autumn. In late spring, the plant is covered in light periwinkle blue flowers. This low-maintenance native hybrid is deer resistant and heat tolerant, making it ideal for borders, mass plantings, or containers. It thrives in full sun to part shade and average, moist soil.
