Strongbox® Inkberry Holly is a compact, native evergreen shrub that serves as an excellent alternative to boxwood. It naturally forms a dense, broadly rounded mound that maintains its lush green foliage all the way to the ground. This hardy variety thrives in full sun to partial shade and is notably tolerant of wet, acidic soils. Reaching just 2 to 3 feet in height and width, it is perfect for low hedges, containers, or mass plantings. It is also deer resistant and avoids common boxwood blights.
