Sugar Tip® Gold Rose of Sharon

This multi-stemmed deciduous shrub features a stiffly upright, vase-shaped habit, reaching about five feet in height. Its most striking feature is the ornamental bluish-green foliage edged in bright gold, which provides season-long interest even when not in bloom. During summer, it produces a profusion of showy, double purple flowers that attract pollinators. Highly adaptable and urban-tolerant, it thrives in full sun to part shade and works well as a hedge, specimen, or container plant.
