Sunjoy® Gold Beret is a dwarf Japanese barberry with a low, mounded form, golden foliage, red new growth, and red autumn color. The cultivar is ‘Talago’, identified by Proven Winners with patent USPP 20,602. ## Garden Use Its bun-like size suits rock gardens, containers, low hedges, and small borders. The bright foliage provides contrast against green plants, while the compact habit fits tight spaces. ## Mature Size Proven Winners lists 6–12 inches tall and 12–18 inches wide.
