Superbells® Double Smitten Pink is a double-flowered calibrachoa with light-pink and rose-pink blossoms. The [Proven Winners cultivar profile](https://serv3.provenwinners.com/plants/calibrachoa/superbells-double-smitten-pink-double-calibrachoa-calibrachoa) lists a 6–12 inch height, 12–24 inch spread, spring-to-fall flowering, and USDA zones 9a–11b.
## Flowers and placement
Its rosebud-like blooms make a soft color accent in hanging baskets, window boxes, and patio containers. The mounding, trailing stems can spill over a planter edge or soften the front of a sunny bed. Calibrachoa is a tender perennial usually grown as an annual where winters are cold.
## Growing conditions
Provide full sun to part sun and fertile, well-drained potting mix. [NCSU Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/calibrachoa-x-hybrida/) notes calibrachoa performs in moist, organically rich soil but needs drainage; [Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/calibrachoa) recommends regular watering and feeding for container plants. Keep the root zone evenly moist during active growth, letting the mix surface dry slightly before watering again.
## Maintenance
Check baskets often in hot or windy weather because they dry quickly. Feed through the growing season following label directions. Spent blooms do not need routine removal; trim long stems lightly if the plant becomes uneven.
