About Superbells® Doublette Love Swept Double Calibrachoa

Superbells® Doublette Love Swept is a double-flowered calibrachoa with deep pink petals edged by a fine white rim. Proven Winners lists it at 6–10 inches tall and 12–24 inches wide, flowering from spring through fall. Its mounding, trailing stems work in hanging baskets, patio containers, and the front of sunny plantings. ## Form and flowering The layered blooms distinguish this selection from single-flowered calibrachoas, while the pale rim outlines each flower. Green foliage and a cascading habit make it useful as a spiller in mixed containers. ## Growing conditions Grow in full sun or part sun in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. The breeder rates it for USDA zones 9–11. In colder areas calibrachoa is generally treated as a warm-season annual. Use a container mix with reliable drainage, monitor moisture during hot weather, and feed regularly to support continued flowering. Extension guidance notes that calibrachoa can bloom until frost and does not require routine deadheading. Feed through the active growing season, particularly for plants in containers. Trim long or uneven shoots as needed; routine deadheading is not required. Protect from frost or replace after the season in colder climates.
