Create design onlineAbout Superbells® Grape Punch™ Calibrachoa
Superbells® Grape Punch™ is a mounding-trailing Calibrachoa with deep purple flowers and a large, dark eye. Proven Winners reports a height of 6–12 inches, spread of 12–24 inches, and trailing stems up to 24 inches; it suits baskets and containers ([Proven Winners](https://www.provenwinners.com/p/10736)).
## Placement and growing conditions
Grow it in part sun to full sun in a container or basket with free-draining potting mix. Purple flowers with a plummy-black eye create strong contrast in mixed plantings. Avoid wet soil, which can damage the roots.
## Flowering
The cultivar flowers in spring, summer, and fall and may continue until hard frost. Its long stems develop as it fills out, making it a natural container spiller.
## Maintenance
Calibrachoa is best in a well-drained container mix in part sun to full sun. Keep moisture even but allow the mix to dry slightly between waterings; feed regularly through flowering and trim long stems around midsummer if needed. Routine deadheading is not required. These tender perennials are usually grown as annuals where frost occurs. ([NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/calibrachoa-x-hybrida/)).
