About Superbells® Honeyberry Calibrachoa

Superbells® Honeyberry is a mounding, trailing calibrachoa with soft pink flowers and yellow accents. The [Proven Winners cultivar profile](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/calibrachoa/superbells-honeyberry-calibrachoa) lists a 6–12 inch height, 12–24 inch spread, spring-to-fall flowering, and USDA zones 9–11. ## Flowers and placement The colorful flowers stand out in hanging baskets, window boxes, and patio planters, where stems can cascade over the edge. Use Honeyberry as a spiller in a mixed container or as a compact seasonal accent near a sunny path. Calibrachoa is a tender perennial usually grown as an annual outside warm climates. ## Growing conditions Provide full sun to part sun and fertile, moist but well-drained potting mix. [NCSU Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/calibrachoa-x-hybrida/) recommends good drainage for calibrachoa; [Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/calibrachoa) advises regular watering and feeding, especially for container plants. Keep the root zone evenly moist during active growth, then let the surface of the mix dry slightly before watering again. ## Maintenance Check baskets frequently during hot or windy weather because small containers dry quickly. Feed according to the fertilizer label through the flowering season. Spent flowers do not need routine removal; trim leggy stems lightly if the plant becomes uneven.
