Create design onlineAbout Superbells® Red Calibrachoa
Superbells® Red is a trailing Calibrachoa covered in true-red flowers. Proven Winners reports a height of 6–12 inches and spread of 12–24 inches; it blooms from spring until frost and suits containers and hanging baskets ([Proven Winners](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/calibrachoa/superbells-red-ii-calibrachoa)).
## Placement and growing conditions
Place it in part sun to full sun in a basket, window box, or container. Bright red flowers make a distinct accent in combinations. The trailing stems can spill over the rim as the plant fills out.
## Flowering
The breeder describes Red as a long-blooming annual with flowers through hard frost.
## Maintenance
Calibrachoa is best in a well-drained container mix in part sun to full sun. Keep moisture even but allow the mix to dry slightly between waterings; feed regularly through flowering and trim long stems around midsummer if needed. Routine deadheading is not required. These tender perennials are usually grown as annuals where frost occurs. ([NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/calibrachoa-x-hybrida/)).
