SuperCal® Premium French Vanilla Petchoa

SuperCal® Premium French Vanilla is an annual petchoa with yellow flowers and a mounding habit. Sakata lists this exact selection in its Premium series; Penn State’s trial profile records yellow flower color, and Sakata’s culture chart describes French Vanilla as early, medium-flowered, and slightly stronger in vigor than average. ## Growing Choose full sun or partial sun and well-drained soil. Use a porous potting mix, keep container soil moist, and water landscape plantings when the soil dries. The exact product profile lists a mature range of 14–20 inches tall by 14–22 inches wide. Sakata recommends slow-release fertilizer at label rates and reports that the series maintains color through summer heat and recovers after rain. ## Maintenance Premium selections are mounding and self-cleaning; trim as needed for shape.
