SuperCal® Premium Pearl White Petchoa

SuperCal® Premium Pearl White is a white-flowered petchoa in Sakata’s SuperCal Premium series. Sakata identifies the hybrid group as part petunia and part calibrachoa and lists Premium Pearl White among its named colors. Ball’s exact product listing identifies the selection code SAKPXC033 and describes larger flowers, a strong mounding habit, heat tolerance and continuous blooming; see the [Sakata SuperCal product page](https://sakataornamentals.com/plantname/supercal/) and [product information for Premium Pearl White](https://www.ballfloraplant.com/Products/Details/?phid=143608470003972). ## Growing conditions The exact cultivar listing gives a garden height of 14–20 inches and spread of 14–22 inches, and lists exposure to sun and partial sun. Sakata describes the series as an annual bedding plant with strong garden performance in heat, cold and rainy weather. This compact, mounded selection works in beds and containers; its refined growth also suits mixed plantings. ## Maintenance Avoid wide swings in soil moisture, as the culture notes advise, and use a free-draining growing mix. Sakata describes SuperCal flowers as self-cleaning, so routine deadheading is not needed. For general petunia-family care, [Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia) recommends full sun and moist, well-drained soil.
