Supertunia® Blue Skies Petunia

Supertunia® Blue Skies is a blue-lavender petunia in the Supertunia range. Proven Winners describes Supertunias as vigorous, mounding plants for containers, hanging baskets, combinations, and landscapes, with flowering through the season. ## Site & Use Use Blue Skies in a sunny container or mixed planting where its cool-toned flowers can complement white, purple, or silver companions. The [Proven Winners plant-trial page](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/awards/371842) identifies Blue Skies, and the brand’s [Supertunia growing guide](https://www.provenwinners.com/sites/provenwinners.com/files/pdf/sell-sheets/SupertuniaTipSheet-12.pdf) covers general series care and landscape uses. ## Growing The series guide recommends full sun and describes Supertunias as self-cleaning, so routine deadheading is unnecessary. Give container plants a free-draining potting mix and check moisture regularly during warm weather. ## Maintenance Remove damaged stems if needed and keep containers watered before the mix dries completely. Follow the fertilizer label for container petunias and refresh the mix when replanting.
