About Supertunia® Honey™ Petunia

Supertunia Honey produces an ever-changing mix of yellow, orange, salmon, and pink flowers, with a sunset-like blend that shifts as blooms develop. The well-branched plant grows in a mounded, trailing shape for containers and sunny garden beds. ## Placement Grow it in part sun to sun. Mature plants are about 4–12 inches tall and 18–24 inches wide, with stems that can trail farther in baskets and planters. Flowering begins in spring and continues through fall, often until frost in suitable conditions. ## Care Provide consistent moisture and average soil fertility. Proven Winners lists Supertunia Honey as heat tolerant and self-cleaning, and notes that butterflies and hummingbirds visit its flowers. The mixed flower colors are part of this selection’s appeal, so allow room to see the changing tones across the plant. ## Maintenance Spent flowers need not be removed for continued bloom. Feed regularly according to product label directions, using a controlled-release fertilizer at planting and supplemental water-soluble feeding through the growing season. If stems become long by midsummer, trim them back by no more than about one fifth and feed to encourage fresh growth.
