Create design onlineAbout Supertunia® Mini Vista® Midnight Petunia
Supertunia® Mini Vista® Midnight is a trailing petunia with rich purple flowers. Proven Winners lists it for spring-through-fall bloom and for hanging baskets, containers, and sunny landscape plantings; the formal selection code is WGPESMVMID.
## Site & Use
Grow Midnight in part sun to sun. The official [Mini Vista Midnight plant page](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/petunia/supertunia-mini-vista-midnight-petunia) lists a mature height of 6–12 inches and spread of 18–24 inches, making it suitable for a basket edge or a container spiller. It can also be used in sunny landscape plantings.
## Growing
Provide consistent moisture and well-drained soil. Container plants dry more quickly than in-ground plantings, so check them regularly in warm weather. Proven Winners notes that this selection is heat tolerant and does not need deadheading.
## Maintenance
Trim the longest stems around midsummer if growth becomes uneven, removing no more than one-fifth of the plant at a time. Feed after trimming to encourage fresh growth and continued flowers.
