Create design onlineAbout Supertunia® Mini Vista® Violet Star Petunia
Supertunia Mini Vista Violet Star is a compact, densely branched petunia whose white flowers carry a violet-blue star pattern. Its mounding plants also trail, bringing color to the front of a bed, a hanging basket, or the edge of a mixed container.
## Placement and display
The Proven Winners profile gives a mature height of 6–12 inches and a spread of 18–24 inches. Plant it along borders, edging, or ground-cover style displays, and use it as a filler in containers and window boxes. The white-and-blue flowers are listed for spring, summer, and fall, with continued blooming until frost under suitable conditions.
## Growing conditions
Choose full sun or part sun and use well-drained soil. The grower rates water and soil fertility as average; maintain even moisture, especially in containers, without leaving the roots in waterlogged mix. The profile notes heat and drought tolerance and reports attraction to butterflies and hummingbirds.
## Maintenance
Routine deadheading is not required for continued flowering. Keep the plant within its space with occasional trimming if the trailing stems extend too far, and remove damaged growth when needed.
